2018 Point In Time Count Volunteers Needed
2018 POINT IN TIME COUNT
Thursday, February 1, 2018
The Point in Time Count for 2018 will be February 1st. HUD requires CoCs (Continuums of Care) to conduct a count of individuals and families in emergency shelters and transitional housing programs every year and a count of unsheltered individuals and families every other year. In North Carolina, we conduct a sheltered and unsheltered count every year.
The Point in Time Count is a snapshot of what homelessness looks like in communities on any given night and does not represent all persons experiencing homelessness in our community.
Volunteers will be stationed at several different locations in Guilford County to survey individuals experiencing homelessness.
Partners Ending Homelessness is working closely with the CoC Data Committee to coordinate and plan the count for this year and we look forward to sharing the results with everyone.
