In Loving Memory of Terry Speed

Terry Sandra Gilmer Speed, was born July 1, 1946, in Greensboro, NC, and transitioned from this life on January 24, 2018.

She was an adored member of our beloved community as well as a dedicated member of Faith Community Church. For many years, Terry served as the Coordinator of the Beloved Community Center's Homeless Hospitality Program, where she welcomed and fed thousands over the years. She was affectionately called "Ma Terry" by those who frequented "the House." Though we will miss her warm presence, we are grateful to have been able to work with and fellowship with such a beautiful woman all these years.

We will be having a Homegoing Celebration Service for her, Friday, February 2, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 200 N. Regan Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.
